She and her Pet.
Originated as a sketch. Actually, She did. And then I thought-- she needs a pet elephant! And then the whole thing just kinda turned out.  Ink wash painting; used a size 1 round watercolor brush for the entire thing. (I was nice, didn't ruin the bristles too badly!) Proud of myself for not using a dip pen; that tends to give pieces harsher outlines; this was a nice way of giving subtleties. I think I spent about 4 hours on this. |
